In this Reference Library are four categories of reference materials. Included are workshop proceedings, overview articles, and other materials from the 35 years of heavy ion fusion development describing the solid foundations of the ingredient technologies, recent presentations by FPC staff, selected subjects expanding on technical topics that are unique to FPC's fusion system, and a section containing information on basic topics ranging from inertial confinement fusion, to the history of accelerators, and a timeline that locates heavy ion fusion in the history of nuclear energy—a field that is little more than a century old and very much a work in progress.
